The Main Street Players present “Comedicopia,” a collection of eight short comedic skits written by local playwright Fred Kaplan. Billed as theater for audiences with attention deficit disorder, this former musician and entertainment agent has brought together six actors, eight plays, fifteen bucks, and a million laughs.

When Prince Charming loses his kingdom and has to work as a greeter at the Magic Kingdom, his fairy-tale romance comes to an end in “Miserable Ever After.” Then, “The Flight From Hell,” where, when on an airplane, no one can hear you scream. Bond is back on a mission in “Double O Seventy,” a job that may threaten all the senior citizens in Florida.

During “Rocky's Requiem,” the champ faces the fight of his life, literally. Then there is Evan, whose one last chance at love is “Matches R Us,”... and it just may work.

“Medium Looking for Love” presents a radio psychic who gets an unexpected message from beyond. In “Sex Therapy,” Dr. Root probes deeply into the psyche of a very troubled young man. And the laughs don’t end when the audience meets Charlene in “The Date.” She always gets asked out again. What’s her secret?

Be sure not to miss this special evening of short plays featuring actors Bob Benjamin, Jill Brown, Fran Friedman, Peter Hawkins, Penny Mandel and George Wentzler. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for this one night engagement, Saturday, November 29 at 8 p.m. at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street.
