Miami Lakes Bar Association announces new leaders

     The Miami Lakes Bar Association swore in new leaders during a ceremony March 18 at Miami Lakes Town Hall.  Judge Diana Vizcaino of the 11th Judicial Circuit led the oaths taken by the new board members.

     About 26 judges attended, new president Nayib Hassan said. Judge Florence Taylor Barner from the 17th Circuit addressed the group and Judge William Altfield from the 11th Circuit sang the national anthem. Senior Pastor Louis Egipciaco from Elevate Church led a closing prayer.
