Miami Lakes Branch Library has the following programs available for the public during August:
For Children and families:
Family Game Day - Enjoy playing a variety of table games with family and friends at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 23.
For Teens:
Tween Book Club – A book club for ages 8-12. Members meet once a month to discuss the chosen book of the month. Registration required. Meets at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 30.
For Adults:
Book Discussion Group – Contact the branch for this month’s title. Meets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19.
Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart Community Outreach – A member of Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart’s staff will visit the library to discuss federal issues or any problem a constituent may have with a federal agency. Meets at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27.
