As part of its ongoing concert series, Miami Lakes Congregational Church is sponsoring an exciting Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the church's sanctuary.
Directed by Director of Music, Dr. Adolfo Vidal, the concert will be a Christmas Chorale Extravaganza featuring the combined voices of different choirs in the area, joined by professional soloists and the renowned Miami Chamber Players.
The repertoire includes different movements from the “Magnificat” by English composer John Rutter, some of his famous Christmas carols and several other traditional carols where the audience will have the opportunity to sing along.
Rutter's magnificent choral collection represents the repertoire that has been coloring the Christmases around the world for more than three decades. Admission is free. Bring a friend to share in this celebrative evening of Christmas music.
A light reception will follow the concert in the church's Fellowship Hall. Miami Lakes Congregational Church is located at 6701 Miami Lakeway South, across from Miami Lakes K-8 Center.
