Robot Demonstration

Wed., March 13 

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Miami-Dade Police Dept.’s Bomb Squad will demonstrate how a robot was built and is used. 

Ages 12 – 18.


Homework Help & Tutoring  

Sat, March 16, April 6

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Certified teachers tutor students in reading, math and science for one-hour sessions.

Adult Learning Academy Basic English for Beginners 

Mon., March 18

6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. 

A 10-week course for adults who do not speak any English. The semester ends March 18. Certified teachers provide English language instruction at the library. Registration required for all 10 weeks. Space is limited. Ages 18+.


Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing for Toddlers en dos idiomas 

Tues., March 26, April 2

11 a.m. – Noon

Library staff present stories, songs and activities in English and Spanish for toddlers and caregivers. 

Ages 18 mos. - 3.


Chess Free Play

Tues., March 26

6 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Fun, casual game time.

Ages 8 – 18.


All About that Pace

Fri., March 29

11 a.m. – Noon

Walk in place at your own pace during this low-impact exercise class. Ages 19+


Rhythm and Dance with Andres

11 a.m. – Noon

Learn new dance steps taught by an experienced instructor. Suitable for all skill levels.

Talk Crafty to Me!

Thurs., March 14

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Make cool crafts and meet other creatives for a project focused on Women’s History Month. Materials provided.  

Ages 19+

Fri. and Sat. 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
