PC Magazine released a survey in February that ranks the Town of Miami Lakes 13th out of 60 in the United States and Canada of the best Work-From- Home-Cities for 2021.
The magazine cited several factors for the town’s high placement, though it says only 6.2 percent of Miami Lakers work from home.
The pluses are $60 for gigabit broadband; treelined streets, low crime and a small-town feel, it said.
Oh, and 35 coffee shops per 100,000 people.
That’s a lot of java spots to turn to when the walls start closing in or the Zoom meetings become too much.
