Relay for Life of Miami Lakes will take place from noon to midnight on Saturday, May 2, at Miami Lakes Optimist Park, Miami Lakes Drive North and N.W. 67 Avenue.
Relay for Life is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society and features an opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to the disease, and learn more about how to fight back against cancer.
Relay for Life is a true community event where people of all ages and from all walks of life come together for a common cause - the fight against cancer.
The theme of the Miami Lakes relay this year is “MOOVING For A Cure” in tune with the history of Miami Lakes.
Businesses and community organizations are forming teams to participate in the event and individuals are also welcome to attend.
