Samantha Graveline, a senior benefit consultant for Brown & Brown, will be the guest speaker for the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce monthly membership meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, at Shula’s Hotel.
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12 noon.
Graveline grew up in South Florida and currently resides in Miami Lakes. She is married to Chris and has two children, Amanda, 16, and Kameron, 1.
She began her career at Brown & Brown in 1996. Her specialty is developing strategic relationships with clients to mitigate benefit costs through negotiation with the carriers, employee education, utilization assessments and wellness initiatives. In addition, she has obtained her Certified Healthcare Reform Consultant through The American College, and she has an extensive background in human resources and benefits administration.

Lunch admission is $30 for members and their guests who reserve; $35 for members and their guests who do not reserve before deadline (walk-ins); and $35 for non members (cash only).
Miami Lakes Chamber Directory
Work has begun by the Directory Committee headed by Chamber member John Burns who has produced the directories for the past three years. The books will be printed by board member Suzie Kanner of Sir Speedy Printing.
The Chamber will print and distribute 5,000 copies to current and future Chamber members and their staffs, local businesses and residents. The committee has added a new incentive this year. With an objective to have the Directory correspond with the organization’s business cycle, advertising space sales will start immediately and continue until October 31.
By reserving space and paying no later than September 30, advertisers will receive a 10 percent discount.
The Directory will be published on December 1 in time for the Chamber’s Business Expo. Credit card payments will be accepted.
