The Miami Lakes Garden Club will begin their fall programs with a meeting on Monday, September 22, at 7 p.m. at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
All attendees are asked to bring a plant for a plant exchange. In addition to a plant exchange, the Garden Club will be treated to a presentation by Garland Mitchell, a licensed gardening and lawn maintenance business owner with 10 years of experience.
Mitchell has a green thumb and a passion for plants. In addition to his presentation on plant propagation at the meeting, the Garden Club will be utilizing Mitchell's expertise in maintaining the Miami Lakes cow garden near the Miami Lakes Library.
