Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee, in partnership with Mount Sinai Medical Center, will present their fourth health workshop from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, February 13, in Town Hall Council Chambers, 6601 Main Street.
The workshop topic is “Abdominal Wall Hernias: Types, Symptoms, and Treatments,” and will be open, free of charge, to all that wish to attend.
The presenter will be Dr. Jennifer Davies, physician of general surgery at Mount Sinai. She attended medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine and did her residency and fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Davies will discuss types, symptoms and treatments of abdominal wall hernias.
A light lunch will be served sponsored by Mount Sinai.
