National Day of Prayer breakfast at Miami Lakes Town Hall

      Miami Lakes observed the National Day of Prayer on May 7 with a breakfast at Town Hall. Archpriest Joseph Lucas from Christ the Saviour Cathedral; Pastor Louis Egipciaco of Elevate Church and Pastor Dr. Juan Barek, Miami-Dade County coordinator for National Day of Prayer, all led prayers before the audience.

     Mayor Josh Dieguez, Vice Mayor Bryan Morera; Council members Steven Herzberg and Alex Sanchez attended. They were joined by Fla. Rep. Tom Fabricio, R-Miami Lakes; School Board Member Roberto J. Alonso and Juan Fernandez-Barquin, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller of Miami-Dade County. Sasha Rodriguez sang the national anthem and the Christ the Savior Cathedral Choir and the Elevate Church Band performed.
