New Testament Baptist Church is hosting an end-of-summer-picnic for all families in the community. This family fun event is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6601 N.W. 167 Street on the soccer field. Parking is $3.
The event, “End of the Summer Splash” will have water slides for children and several water games. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and refreshments will be for sale. The church requests that participants attend with clothes that can get wet but to refrain from wearing bathing suits. For more information visit
