The Town of Miami Lakes is inviting residents to join in an evening of art and culture as the works of students in the Town’s adult painting class will be showcased from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
Works by talented artist Ginette Lillo, the painting class instructor, will also be displayed. Lillo studied at the Arts Applique and the Academy of Paul Collin in France. She continued her art studies at the University of Miami and Silvermine Guild School of Art. Her paintings have been featured in National Geographic Magazine.
The paintings will be on display at Town Hall through the summer months from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
