OLL singers perform at Town Hall

     The Glee Club from Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School performed for residents Dec. 16 at the Nativity scene set up in front of Miami Lakes Town Hall. Led by teacher Dominick Cava, the students performed the hymns and songs “Prayer of Peace;” “Go tell it on the Mountain;” “Silent Night;” “Feliz Navidad” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.” 

     The creche was blessed by Father Hector Perez of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Mayor Manny Cid and Elsa Reus, secretary of the town’s Cultural Affairs Committee, spoke during the event.
