Say hello to Charlie! The 4-year-old “Morkie” is a mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese. He lives in Miami Lakes with Samantha Tamayo and her husband Alex Pabon.
Charlie weighs just 15 pounds, but in his heart, he’s a fierce protector of his home.
“He wants to be a guard dog,” Tamayo said. “But when the big dogs come up to him, he wants to play.”
Charlie will bark at people, too, though with some exceptions.
“He loves little kids, and they are the only ones he doesn’t bark at,” she said.
Charlie loves his walks around the block and has great endurance.
“After a long walk he still wants to play,” Tamayo said. “We love him. He’s amazing.”
