     Say hello to Albóndiga!

This pretty French Bulldog’s Spanish name translates to Meatball in English, and she is delicious.

Just 2.5 years old, Albóndiga lives in Miami Lakes with Fla. Rep. Tom Fabricio, his wife Laura and their daughters Veronica, 13, and Alexandra, 11.

“She is extremely energetic and loving,” Fabricio said of his pup. “She travels with my family and I up to Tallahassee for the Florida legislature’s session.”

Fabricio said the family welcomed Albóndiga to help Alexandra overcome her fear of dogs and most other animals.

“She never had any prior incident with a dog, biting her or anything of that nature, but she was just very afraid of animals,” Fabricio said. “Within six months of having the little puppy in our house, Alexandra totally fell in love with her and has 100% overcome her fear of animals.”

Albóndiga has big brown eyes and a lovely cream-colored coat.

“She is the opposite of a guard dog,” he said. “She is probably the friendliest dog I’ve ever had.”

Albóndiga wakes at 6 a.m., ready for her walk and does zoomies about three times a day.
“She definitely has a lot of friends in the neighborhood,” he said about two other Frenchies and a Chihuahua that live nearby.
