Meet Pete! He is a 4.5-year-old Terrier mix who was a puppy when he was found roaming the Redland area in southwest Miami-Dade County.
The Garcia family in Miami Lakes gave him a home. “He was the perfect fit,” said Michelle Rojas Garcia.
“He’s been with us ever since.”
Pete shares the family’s household in the Loch
Lomond East community with Rojas Garcia’s husband, Alexander Garcia, and their daughter Gaby Garcia, 19, a student at University of Central Florida.
Pete enjoys protecting the family from iguanas and sunning himself on their balcony.
“I always say he’s meditating,” Rojas Garcia said.
