Say hello to Kira!
She is a “Pomsky,” a Pomeranian and Siberian Husky mix.
The 14-pound, 6-year-old pup has a fluffy white coat and distinctive blue and black eyes.
“She’s a very good girl,” said her owner, Maxine Mantrana. “She’s still like a puppy, loves to run and is the fastest dog at the dog park.”
Kira is also a sailor, who loves to go kayaking at Oleta River State Park in North Miami Beach.
“We’ll take her kayaking on her birthday in August,” Mantrana said. “That’s how we celebrate Kira.”
She described her pet as a “treat-driven” dog who responds to chicken-wrapped, sweet potato delights.
The pair live in downtown Miami Lakes. You may see them walking around Main Street, if Kira can be coaxed from sunbathing on her balcony.
