Reader’s Corner

“I make sure I get my copy every time The Miami Laker comes out,” said Elsa Reus, director of community relations and alumni at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School

“I usually get the paper from the green boxes on Miami Lakeway North, or in the church office where we always have a copy on the counter,” she said.

“I love to see the news about our schools and students in the town.

“I also like to read the news regarding the town council and what is happening in our town.

“The new look of The Miami Laker is very clear, and it gives you a choice of different sections such as the local news and sports, and accomplishments of our schools in the area.

“I often use the news of the new businesses opening in the town as a resource for our annual events.

“It is a pleasure to have a community paper that unites all the businesses and citizens in our great Town of Miami Lakes,” Reus said.

Reus is also a member of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee.
