Registration underway for Optimist Club baseball, softball and T-ball

      Registration for the Optimist Club of Miami Lakes’ baseball, T-ball and softball programs is now open. 

     Parents have until Jan. 21 to sign up their kids for the programs at the park. 

     Boy and girls ages 4 to 14 are eligible for the programs that are open to residents in Miami Lakes and unincorporated Miami-Dade County. 

     Tryouts will be held for baseball and softball with times for each age slot. 

     T-ball players will be evaluated for placement. 

     Registration fees are $165 per child for T-ball. Baseball and softball cost $190 per player.  A late registration fee of $20 will be charged.

     The regular season runs Feb. 23 through May 11 for all programs.
