Two COVID-19 treatment and prevention studies by Johns Hopkins University, in collaboration with the University of Miami Health System, are seeking people recently exposed to the coronavirus or those diagnosed with it. Clinical trials will assess whether convalescent blood plasma is effective as an outpatient treatment. Organizers hope to enroll essential workers, health care workers, home aides, elderly persons and parents/ caregivers of children. Students attending summer school or district-affiliated camps: Miami-Dade County Public Schools provides free breakfast and lunch, from June 14th through August 13th (except for July 5th).
Students not in a program: Free summer meals are also available daily to kids who are 18 and younger. They may walk in to get their grab and go meal.
