Current members, new members and non-member guests using guest passes at Shula’s Athletic Club, 15150 Bull Run Rd., are eligible to enter to win a customized paddle board made by Miami Lakes local, Athletic Club member, and professional paddle board creator, Christopher “Rubio” Gonzalez. Gonzalez is a surfer with a passion for art and design and started Rubio Surf Designs in 2010.
The Shula’s Athletic Club customized paddle board, which features the words “Live Inspired,” will be given to one lucky winner on July 11 at 1:30 p.m. To participate for a chance to win, current members earn one raffle entry for every non-member they refer to join Shula’s Athletic Club. New members automatically receive an entry. Additionally, members and non-member guests that are present on July 11 before noon and sign up will receive an entry for a chance to win.
Only on July 11, guest fees are waived all day long and enrollment specials are available for new members. Gonzalez will be present at the announcement of the winner, along with a live DJ, and an apparel and merchandise table, free samples, exclusive discounts, and tacos prepared by Cancun Grill available for purchase.
