St. Thomas president Monsignor Franklyn Casale honored by HACU

The Rev. Monsignor Franklyn M. Casale, president emeritus of St. Thomas University, recently received the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) Lifelong Leadership Award for his exemplary leadership and advocacy for success in higher education.
HACU president and CEO Antonio R. Flores presented the State of HACU during the Opening Plenary, convened by Félix Matos-Rodríguez, president of Queens College, City University of New York and chair of HACU’s Governing Board.
As part of its conference proceedings, recognitions were made for honorees that have contributed to improving opportunities for college students. A total of nine honorees were recognized.
