Teen service event at horse rescue center on July 7

Miami Lakes Youth Center “The Spot” is calling for teens to spend a day volunteering on Sunday, July 7, at Peaceful Ridge Horse Rescue.
Peaceful Ridge is a non-profit organization that provides dental and medical care, rehabilitation and adoption services for rescued horses.
The volunteer opportunity is free for teens ages 13 to 17 and registration is required at www.TOML.eventbrite.com. Transportation will be available at 9 a.m. at the Youth Center, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive East. The service opporunity will run until 2 p.m.
