Dr. Maidelys Oliva, Owner, Olive Tree Pediatric Dentistry Miami Lakes
“I am decorating early this year,” Dr. Maidelys Oliva said. “I am a very big holiday fan.”
Stephanny Gonzalez, Assistant Store Manager TD Bank, Miami Lakes
“Yes,” Stephanny Gonzalez said. “I wanted to start Nov. 1st, directly after Halloween. But my boyfriend pretty much stopped me. He was like, ‘No, we have to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the tree, it’s too early,’ and I was like, there is no such thing.”
Daimy Rodon, Nail Technician, The Nail Garden Main St., Miami Lakes
“I put up my Christmas tree on November 3rd,” Daimy Rodon said of her decor that included stops at three stores for ribbon to make bows and new ornaments. “The theme is elegant, Christmas, red. I needed to have something fun and elegant and pretty in the house that makes me feel like, ‘OK this is the time to relax and enjoy.’ The world that we’re living in, I needed something to take my mind off of everything that is going on.”
Marilen Marnett, Director of Sponsorships & Events, The Education Fund, Kendall
“I love decorating,” Marilen Marnett said. “I normally decorate the Friday after Thanksgiving, but this year I’ll be on a cruise. I’d love to decorate before I leave, but time is coming so quickly. I’ll try and when I get home, it’s done.”
Sally Ciriaco, Outreach Liaison, Mount Sinai Medical Center Eldercare, Miami
“I’m not sure yet,” Sally Ciriaco said. “I usually do it before Thanksgiving.”
