Residents are invited to attend the Town of Miami Lakes annual Arbor Day Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
The free event will feature a tree planting ceremony, information and educational materials for residents, as well as tree care demonstrations by the Town’s arborist.
Numbering more than 17,000, the beautiful canopy trees in Miami Lakes have long been the signature of the Town. Miami Lakes has been recognized as a Tree City USA for eight straight years for its outstanding care of trees throughout the community.
