The Town’s YMCA Summer Camp Program is scheduled to run from June 8 through August 14, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
The camp is open to children ages 5 to 12 years old, as well as 13 to 15 year olds who can participate in the Leaders in Training program.
There is a $40 one time registration fee. The Leaders in Training program fee is $90 per week; Adventure Camp is $120 per week; and Specialty Camps (including dance, soccer, theater and singing) are $145 per week. A 10 percent sibling discount is available as well as financial aid.
Young campers will enjoy a wide spectrum of events including drama, singing, art, outdoor activities, project-based learning, book club, weekly field trips and more.
