Miami Lakes announced the winners of the 2018 “Capture a Miami Lakes Moment” photo contest.
First place honors went to Juan Carlos Garcia for a breathtaking photo of one of the Miami Lakes entrance features.
Second place was awarded to Daniel Rodriguez who snapped a photo on his bike ride back from Miami Lakes Picnic Park West that shows a large herd of the town’s trademark cows grazing in a field.
Jose Alvarez’s photo received third place honors for capturing two Miami Lakes runners enjoying the beautiful and serene Graham Park.
Honorable mention awards went to Andres Suarez for his views of the lake at Commerce Way, and Susanna Inguanzo for capturing balmy breezes at a Miami Lakes sunset.
The winners were recognized at the September 4 Council meeting and the photos will be published on the Town’s website, social media pages, and use in the Town’s marketing materials.
