Miami Lakes Youth Center “The Spot” will host several exciting programs for middle and high school students during March and early April at 6075 Miami Lakes Drive.
Friday, March 17 – Get in the spirit from 6 to 8 p.m. and be sure to wear green for a St. Patty’s Celebration.
Wednesday, March 22 – It’s Trivia Night at The Spot from 6 to 8 p.m. so teens can test their knowledge against others to see who will be the King or Queen of Trivia Night.
Saturday, March 25 – Teens are invited to attend a “Healthy Living Workshop” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The workshop will educate teens about healthy eating tips, proper table etiquette, and participate in a demo of the Town’s Pre-Teen Fitness and Just Run programs. Samples of healthy fruits, vegetables and even healthy smoothies will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required.
Wednesday, April 5 – Disney Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Teens may bring friends and perform favorite Disney songs with the karaoke machine, test their knowledge on some Disney trivia, and show love for a favorite Disney character during a costume competition.
