Zonta Club of Miami Lakes recently installed its 2013-2014 board members to lead the club in its quest to support the advancement of women and girls throughout the coming year.
The newly installed officers include president Peggy Hicks, vice president Helen Brown, secretary Cathie Inman, treasurer Shawn Atwill, and board members Jacqueline House, Alina Tabibi, Maria Crowley and Ruth Schobel.
The Zonta Club is currently accepting vendors for its annual Fall Flea Market scheduled for November 9, from 8 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, to be held in the parking lot on the southwest corner of Main Street and Ludlam Road (bordering New Barn Road).
Vendors can reserve two parking spaces for $35. Proceeds from the Flea Market will assist the Zonta Club in supporting its various charitable contributions. The event is hosted by The Graham Companies. To reserve spaces, or for more information, visit www.zontamiamilakes.com.
