The Zontas are an international organization of business and professional women who work to improve the legal, political, economic, education and health status of women. They also promote justice and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, according to its website. The Miami Lakes chapter also supports local charities that promote women’s health and provide shelter for women and children.
