Lawton Chiles Middle School's soccer team makes the playoffs

     The Lawton Chiles Middle School boys soccer team won six of its nine matches this season and won a postseason game for the first time in more than 20 years, a school official said. The team outscored its opponents 24-16 on the year -- including a 20-9 margin over the team’s last six matches. Future Educators of America Club at MLK-8 Center gathers canned goods

     The Miami Lakes K-8 Center’s Future Educators of America Club held its annual canned food drive at the school from Oct. 27 to Nov. 14.
