The application process has started for acceptance into Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy, a full Magnet Program with a focus on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The school invites dedicated and eager students from 5th-10th grade to apply at www.mast3.com up until the deadline on January 15, 2018.
Students at Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy focus on extensive learning in the areas of Life Science, Natural Science and Computer Science. Every student has the opportunity to work on their own genuine research projects and operate real science labs on a daily basis. Each school year, students in grades 8-11 are exposed to a triple dose of science through their traditional science class, a research class and a class dedicated to science labs. Students are also exposed to critical thinking through the extensive study of the nature of science, mathematics, and technology.
Scientific inquiry is the foundation of learning as students apply their skills to real life research.
