BGEC marks Homeless Awareness Day

Students from The National Junior Honor Society and Youth Crime Watch at Bob Graham Education Center gathered on November 3, Homeless Awareness Day. Cardboard signs were used to remind the community that homelessness is an issue that affects everyone. Helpline cards were distributed to parents as they were dropping off their children in the morning. Special thanks to the school’s homeless liaison and counselor Sara Najara, who works diligently to bring awareness and provide assistance as needed.
