Students in Teacher Arianna Flores’ third grade class at Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes got together in March to show their support for Ukraine. The children wore blue and yellow clothing to represent the colors of the country’s flag and made a Ukrainian flag.
Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24. The war has displaced millions of people who are being welcomed by other countries in Europe. The U.S. has pledged to accept up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.
