The Bob Graham Education Center Bobcat Dance Team helped the homeless of Camillus House on Wednesday, February 24. Coach Mayri Martinez, along with Yesse Ruano, a dance team mom, decided to join with Life Coach Nancy for a women’s empowerment act to help Miami’s homeless men that are in need of shoes.

The team and coaches held a drive and almost 100 pairs of shoes were delivered in late February to Camillus House for the homeless.  Camillus House is a ministry that feeds the hungry and provides showers and clean clothing for the homeless. Dance team members participated alongside their parents.

“It is wonderful to see them sharing love with the needy and to the streets of Miami,” said principal Yecenia Martinez-Perez. “This is a great way to show an act of kindness.”
