Bob Graham Education Center’s Mock Trial Team took second place in the District’s Middle School Mock Trial Competition at St. Thomas University on Monday February 29, 2016. The group of students that participated are part of the school’s Civic Engagement Academy’s seventh grade class.
Students were divided into two teams, one as a Prosecution Team and the other as the Defense. They participated in a total of three trials and the teams took turns representing both sides in a case that involved bullying in school.
Prosecution Team members included Serena Petit, Ryan Ledesma, Angelina Granda, Anthony Lopez, Kayla Freixas, and Nicholas Arencibia. The Defense Team members included Elizabeth DeSolo, Meghan Beyra, Alissa Menduina, Brianna Dominguez, Sarah Paulet, and Alexandria Martinez
The Timekeeper and Support members were MaryRose Soto, Justin Delgado and Trenton Young.
