BGEC’s robotics teams capture awards at VEX IQ Challenge qualifier

The Robocats STEM Academy from Bob Graham Education Center participated in the VEX IQ Challenge State Qualifier Competition at WR Thomas Middle School on Saturday, December 3. Team Wall-e and Team Robotic Squad qualified to compete in the Middle School VEX IQ State competition in Tampa. Team Wall-e won the Best Design Award and Team Robotic Squad won the Best STEM Research Project Award. The school congratulated Marilyn Dieppa, Science Department chair and Team Leader for her hard work, dedication and commitment, and the talented group of scholars who worked relentlessly to bring these accolades to the school.
