Bob Graham Education Center (BGEC) shared autism awareness with the Bobcat family on Autism Awareness Day, April 2. The students wore light blue shirts and partnered with the Hope for Autism Team, making donations to University of Miami’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-CARD) of Miami Lakes, where many students within the town receive services free of charge. BGEC’S front office was beautifully decorated with puzzle pieces throughout. Students in the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Units participated in a day filled of activities as well. Acceptance is power, and BGEC believes its halls are filled with superheroes.
