Childcare options offered on teacher planning days

Teacher planning days -- when schools are closed to students -- can be every parent’s nightmare.
To alleviate that stress, the town is offering camps to occupy kids on those days, in partnership with the YMCA.
On Oct. 9, Oct. 25, Nov. 4, Nov. 11 and Nov. 27, kids will be offered enrichment programs that include sports; health and wellness programs; games; arts and crafts; tutoring and other recreational activities.
