Fourteen Pace students accepted to the University of Florida

Pace High School announced that 14 seniors of the Class of 2017 were accepted into the University of Florida. Pace seniors Larissa Alfonso, Nicole Diaz, McAlan Florestal, Katherine Gomez, Alexa Gonzalez, Alyssa Jean-Jacques, David Joseph, Alexandra Lopez, Allison Oddman, Lexie Perez, Vladimir Rochebrun, Ketshia Robillard, Andrew Sanchez, and Priscilla Velez were all accepted into the university. 

These 14 exceptional students met and surpassed the GPA and standardized test requirements to be accepted into UF. Their potential enrollment is buoyed by credits earned through Msgr. Pace High’s dual-enrollment and Advanced Placement programs.  

Several students were also recognized for awards at Pace’s annual Academic Awards ceremony on April 11. Alexa Gonzalez was awarded both the Principal’s Award for Outstanding Leadership, while Nicole Diaz, Ketshia Robillard, and Vladimir Rochebrun were honored for receiving Independent Schools of South Florida Star Award.
