Gov. Scott sponsors Hispanic Heritage essay contest

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in September, Florida students can apply for Governor Rick Scott and First Lady Ann Scott’s Hispanic Heritage Month essay contest for kids in grades four to 12.

Three winners will be selected to receive a four-year Florida College Plan scholarship sponsored by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation: one elementary school student (grades 4 to 5), one middle school student (grades 6 to 8), and one high school student (grades 9 to 121)
The deadline for students to submit their essay is Friday, September 9.
