Hialeah Gardens High School celebrated two
of its educators: Sumitra Singal, who was named Rookie Teacher of the Year, and James “Coach” Bryant, chosen as Teacher of the Year.
Singal is in her fifth year of teaching and instructs students in the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism.
Bryant is the Culinary Arts teacher as well as the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America district advisor.
Bryant is in his 12th year in the classroom.
“We are so proud of the both of you,” the school posted on its website.
Hialeah Gardens High School is at 11700 Hialeah Gardens Boulevard.
There are 2,608 students enrolled in grades 9 - 12.
