Hialeah Gardens High School team wins first place in Ten80 competition

More than 400 Miami-Dade high school students participated in the Ten80 National STEM League Expo & Invitational on November 6 at the iTech@Thomas A. Edison Educational Center.

Hosted by Ten80 Education, with support from the U.S. Army, the event welcomed student teams who were competing in the Student Racing Challenge radio-controlled (RC) car invitational, as well as introducing prospective students to the program through STEM-related (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) workshops.

Students also attended a STEM-focused discussion with panelists from the U.S. Army, Don Schumacher Racing and Ten80 Education.
