The Hialeah Miami Lakes High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter is headed to California for the summer to compete in a prestigioius national competition.

In June, the group won the state championship during the Florida Leadership Conference in Orlando, qualifying the six-member team to compete for the national title in Anaheim, California.

The team includes Randa Raad, Ana Souto, Stephanie Bigot, Jake Camacho, Laura Genao and Delany Gutierrez. The group calls the national stage the cherry on top of their senior year, and they could not have gotten where they are without their “wonderful” sponsor Novella Jones.

The achievement has placed Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High in the national spotlight in a positive way.
