For the second consecutive year, Hialeah Miami Lakes High School has been named a National Magnet School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America, the national association for magnet and theme-based schools.
The National Magnet School of Excellence honors the top magnet schools in the U.S., as HML demonstrated a commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation and diversity efforts, and consistent delivery of high quality educational services.
HML and other highest ranking magnet schools are eligible to receive monetary awards and the chance to be named the nation’s top Magnet School.
