Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High’s National Honor Society volunteered at the Breanna Vergara 5K Walk/Color Run which took place on Sunday, December 13.
Having the most volunteers out of all schools and organizations, the Trojan Chapter of the National Honor Society took on different tasks throughout the day. Many of the inducted members mentioned how this event was not only a great way to receive community service hours but also having the chance to learn about Breanna Vergara's incident and ways all can help as a community made this an amazing experience.
The group, led by sponsor Jennifer Murray, participated during the event and after hours with clean up and support for the Breanna Vergara Foundation.
