Hope Kids School at Hope Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 N.W. 67 Avenue in Miami Lakes, is accepting students for Pre-K, VPK, kindergarten and summer camps. Sandi Pickard is the school’s Director.
Students recently witnessed the changing of caterpillars to butterflies, and watched them munch on the class’ milkweed plant. From the start of the school year, children learn about pumpkins, pilgrims, wise men, and hibernation.
“In providing a flexible program of full-time and part-time options, we strive to meet the needs of all our families,” said Pickard. “We create an atmosphere where each child is loved and has fun while learning their letters and numbers.”
The school is introducing a new STEM curriculum with the start of the new year in the fall which will bring more depth to the learning experience.
