From Irma to Harry, Hialeah Gardens Middle School weathered the storm extremely well and in the aftermath left the school with Harry, the baby bull. Harry was born September 20 to the school’s Zebu cow, Summer, which was donated by The Graham Companies. Summer was scheduled to give birth at the beginning of October, but the storm was sure to offset nature’s path and an earlier delivery was the result. Students named the calf Harry since his name sounds like a hurricane. He has not disappointed the school, and has been an inspirational addition allowing students to continue to expand their knowledge. He weighed 45 pounds at birth.
