Jose Marti announces Posse Foundation scholars

Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy announced that two seniors won scholarships from The Posse Foundation.
Emile Vasquez Mejia, shown above, left, will attend Hamilton College in Clinton, in central New York, and plans to major in political science.
Carlos Ruiz, shown above, right, will go to Syracuse University, which is also in central New York.
He plans to major in international relations.
The Posse Foundation selects students from diverse backgrounds to create a group, or “posse,” at
universities and helps them develop into leaders.
The foundation will pay full tuition for four years for Emile and Carlos, their school in Hialeah said.
